What Is GAMC?

The Great American Middle Class Forum is a civic discussion community created to help voters, candidates, elected officials, and community leaders talk about the issues that matter most in American life.

Our goal is to create a better place for serious, respectful, practical conversations. Instead of short posts, angry comment threads, or one-way shouting, GAMC is built around organized discussion, voter education, public polling, and election-focused information.

What You Will Find Here

  • Thoughtful discussions on local, state, and national issues
  • Election-specific voter guides and candidate information
  • Community polls that highlight public opinion
  • Opportunities for candidates and officials to engage with voters
  • Respectful conversations focused on ideas, not personal attacks
  • Resources designed to help citizens become more informed voters

A Different Kind of Online Community

There was a time when online forums were among the best places on the internet to learn, ask questions, and exchange ideas. Conversations developed over time, people built reputations through thoughtful participation, and disagreements could lead to deeper understanding.

As social media grew, those long-form discussions were often replaced by short posts, fast reactions, and conversations driven by algorithms. GAMC is built around a different idea. We believe meaningful discussion still has value.

Community Standards

Great discussions do not happen by accident. They require participants who are willing to listen, moderators who help maintain respectful dialogue, and a shared commitment to treating one another with dignity.

Our community standards are designed to encourage thoughtful debate while discouraging personal attacks, harassment, spam, misinformation, and disruptive behavior.
