Employed by the Federal Government for nearly 36 years and responsible for using tax dollars to purchase parts and equipment used to maintain Air Traffic Control Systems. Submitted proposals for greater safety in working on systems in order to prevent outages caused by human error, created methods for easier maintenance processes used by technicians throughout the Western Service Area, and maintained the highest integrity in performing maintenance tasks in order to certify and keep in service vital air traffic control systems in the Eugene and Redmond airports, as well as mountain top locations in the surrounding areas. Worked with city officials at the Eugene Airport to coordinate airport improvements, including the parallel runway on the east side of the airport. Worked with stake holders to improve processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and availability of systems.
