    Introduce Yourself

    Welcome to the GAMC Community!

This is an optional space for members to introduce themselves and say hello to the community.

Whether you're new to GAMC or you've been here for a while, we'd love to know a little about the people who make up our community. You can share as much—or as little—as you're comfortable sharing.

What Would You Like to Share?

Here are a few ideas to get the conversation started:

Tell us a little about yourself.

Share your interests or topics that are important to you.

Tell us what state or region you're from, if you'd like.

Tell us what brought you to GAMC or what you hope to get from being part of the community.

Share what types of discussions or topics you're most interested in.

You don't need to follow a particular format. A simple "Hello" and a few sentences is perfectly fine.

    A Community of Different Perspectives

One of the things that makes a community discussion forum valuable is having people with different backgrounds, experiences, interests, and perspectives.

Your introduction is an opportunity to start getting to know the people behind the discussions. You may discover that you have something in common with another member—or that someone has a completely different perspective that gives you something new to consider.

That's what makes a community conversation interesting.

    Keep It Comfortable

Please remember that sharing personal information is completely optional. Never feel that you need to provide information you would prefer to keep private.

We encourage friendly, respectful introductions and ask everyone to give other members the same consideration.

So, if you'd like, tell us a little about yourself and what brought you to GAMC.

    Welcome—and we're glad you're here!
